Dog Baths
« on: June 25, 2013, 11:13:06 pm »
I’ve seen owners bathe their dogs in their kitchen sink and bathroom tub. The kitchen sink is reserved for the purpose of preparing food and washing dishes. A lot of dogs hate taking baths which can be quite amusing trying to coax them into getting them cleaned. Their first impulse is to run away or to play dead. ;D For myself I would prefer to bathe dogs outside of the house. If you’re a pet owner, where do you prefer to bathe your pets? :dog:

we dont have a dog but if we did, defintely not in the kitchen sink I wouldn't want to eat dog hair or have it on my dishes.]

I've never had a dog small enough to bathe it in a kitchen sink but my aunt has. It's not a big deal. My dogs have always been too big for that so I usually bathed them in the bath tub. If the weather was hot enough then I would bathe them outside, but even when it's 100+ outside the water can still be too cold (& occasionally too hot) to bathe them outside.

My wife does all the dog bathing.  She usually takes them to the dog washing place at the car wash.

We do the same thing too.  We have a massive dog, so the only place is outside with the water host.

Really depends on the size of the dog and where they live.
My inside dogs are 20 pounders, they both get bathed in the tub.
When I had a 50 pound outside dog, she got bathed with the water hose.
