I'm beginning to hate Google Chrome. I just spent 10 minutes completing a survey and at the very end, got the Aw, Snap! screen, which means that Google wasn't recognizing the site. Reloading didn't do any good. This happens a lot. So, I lost the $$ for it.  :BangHead:

Then Google Chrome wonders why people are beginning to hate using their search program. I've tried to find the reason why this happens a lot, but couldn't.  :(

Done with my rant now. Have a nice day everyone!

No, I don't think that has happened to me before. It might of but my memory is bad. Well, just now it took like 5 minutes for a survey to load. I was about to give up but when I read this topic then looked again it had loaded! But Chrome isn't that bad. The worst is by far internet explorer. Firefox is good too but I prefer chrome. Every browser has its problems.

It may not be a browser issue, but an issue with the redirects on that survey.  I do mine on Firefox and have run into the FF versions of Chrome's "oh snap" error.

Sometimes I can salvage it by hitting the back navigation button - and sometimes it takes me back to the last page of the survey and I try to resubmit it and then the second submission works.  But if I can't get back to the survey, then I just cut my losses and move on.

It sucks, but I still feel it's worth the risk to make a little extra cash.

I've gotten that message too and as the member above said sometimes hitting the back button or refreshing helps. Sometimes it just doesn't. If you have a lot problems on your computer including things like browser crashes you might want to get it checked out at a site like spywarewarrior.com, geekstogo.com whatthetech.com or pcpitstop which gives free help with spyware and viruses if you're infected. Cleaning the prefetch and temp files can help along with ccleaner. (type prefetch or %temp% in the run box and ctrl+a to select all the files and delete them) Also see if Opera works any better for surveys not requiring Chrome, IE or Firefox. Sorry to hear your problems. Let me know if this helps.

I think every browser has some form of the "aw, snap" screen at one time or another!   :crybaby2:

I use IObit Advanced Care, which does a good job at fixing any problem you can think of, which is a very good program, including boosting the internet, etc., fixing registry errors, etc., and I do this every day. I clear my history and cache every day, too.

When I use IE, I don't have any "crashes" like with Chrome...I love Chrome, but do get disgusted with it, so I guess IE will be THE one for FC, since I don't get any anser from Chrome support.

I tried Mozilla Firefox and it stopped working, so I uninstalled it, and Opera doesn't work. I am aware of Google doing that, and "He's dead, Jim". am goiing to try Safari OS

I never experienced that when I do the surveys. However, when I try to load a website and it started lagging, that situation happened to me several times. Yes, it can get really annoying.
