Yes it is short it seems like the years are just flying by now.  It was like only yesterday that it was June 1st now it's the middle of the month already.
You are so right about that, I mean it's like these months are just flying by fast, soon it'll be July.

oldbuddy Did you do everything you wanted to in June?  Besides working on career goals I wanted to take my kids to this place called Playtime Pizza that has bumper cars, laser tag room, and stuff like that. I complained inside cause I left $130 poorer, but looking at your post makes me feel happy we finally got a chance to experience that.

sdecaro  Good luck on your goals and those next few years will be here quicker than it seems they should be, that's what we mean by life is short.  Congrats on finding your calling.

Not until I get finished living June to it's fullest.

I agree that the older you get the faster the time seems to slip away.  It's too bad we are all trapped in the "have to" world of working to earn enough to survive so that we don't have the chance or funds to get to the "want to" list.   :'(

I agree, and I find its not always the best thing to think about because I tend to reflect on things I could have done differently. I also think its just something us people heading towards 30 do lol (I'm 29). We realize that life is short, then we realize that we're wasting time thinking about how life is short and then regrets.

Wait until you roll past 70 and you will be thinking how much longer is this going to last?  :dontknow:

Oh, thanks for that. Not looking forward to it. I'm almost there now. In the past year, the days and months have gone by so fast I'm forgetting which month and day it is. I looked at my calendar the other day and realized it was still in April!  :o

As hubby just said the other day..."Here it is almost August and I didn't accomplish half of what I expected to get done." He had expected to have enough wood cut and split for the whole winter by now, but that didn't happen. Now his gout reared its ugly head in both feet this time so he can barely walk.  >:(

Every day I look out my window to see the young 'uns walking up and down our steep hill; some even jogging up. Those days are long gone. :(

Tanissmith Sacrifice today to start making your way down that want to list in the near future.  I think everyone has money, you just have to take some from one place (hair, eating out, etc.) and put it into savings : )

Kilophkadamas I use to do that, but I find it more productive (and sanity preserving lol) to focus instead on what you can do differently in the future.  For example, I just made a list of the errors I made with my last 3 exes in hopes of not repeating those mistakes in future relationships.

Sharonpatri55 I agree : )

Sfreeman8 But you have the vision to look out and the window to look out of : )

Kerseycarol I like your comment!!

Elysee24 Me too : )

I have really begun to feel that way over the last few years.

Divorced 5 years ago and my boyfriend of 4 years left me and my daughter a few months ago. Starting over in your mid 30's and realizing that you aren't where you wanted to be at this stage of your life can be depressing and overwhelming.

Just have to try to find the good and live each day to the fullest.

Time does fly by. My life has been a rollercoaster ride. I have lost a husband. I have had health issues. It seems to never end. I have seven grandkids and only six of them I can spend time with. I have my high school sweetheart that I have been with since 2001. Things seem to keep going in cicles. Grab your future dont fall into the past. Keep going enjoy what you have and not what you dont.

Life is so short, we have to go after the things we want,  before we know it we'll be thinking about all the things we  do different only if i were younger again.. i try and stay positive and do one positive thing a day and the next
before you know it look what happen in a year. :)

Yes, it definitely is short.  For instance, look at this year it's always August.  Time is flying and doesn't seem to be enough time to get things done.
