setting the pace

is your walking pace fast or slow?
Do you pass someone walking in front of you or wait and continue to follow their pace?
I have seen someone pass up two people because they were in such a hurry.....

Typically fast, but it can be real fast if I am in a hurry.

On the slow side, by Chihuahua can outrun me in seconds.

Count me as a fast walker.  It's not that I'm in any hurry, I just have a naturally fast gate - probably because I'm short and would hang out with tall people so I just learned to walk fast to keep up.   :P

When I get stuck behind someone slower, it's actually more work for me to walk at a slower pace than I'm used to.  It's worse when I'm going downhill as I'm sometimes at a near jog/run as I let gravity pull me down.

I find it's not that bad navigating around people except for the groups that take up the whole path and are not aware enough of people trying to pass them.  Much like those cars that bottle neck a highway by not passing and getting out of the way.

Medium to fast. It's annoying being stuck behind slow walkers in public places.

I usually walk at a slower pace, unless I am in a hurry. If I am walking behind someone I try to walk behind them at a pace not to make them speed up and then when I must pass them I politely excuse myself.

My walking speed tends to go with whatever the flow is, but i'm trying to be mindful now when im walking, just enjoying every step :D.

My walking pace is moderately fast.  I have long legs and usually try to get where I am going as quickly as possible.

As long as all is in working order, I tend to be a faster than adverage walker.  I do not like crowds as I like to know where I am going and I tend not to dilly dally.  Crowds annoy me as too many seem to have no sence of what they are doing or where they are going and just tend to get in my way.  WalMarts on the 1st of the month are the worst!

I walk fast.  I don't find walking to be much fun, so I speed it up so I can get it done as quickly as I can!
