Mom spoiled us
« on: June 14, 2013, 07:25:53 am »

Last night my sister was going to take me out shopping for clothes for my internship.

My mom tagged along with us and ended up treating us.

She hasn't spent that much on me since the 7th grade when I was trying go buy new clothes.

:)

Spent about $150 on me getting slacks and nice dress shirts.

Still in need of shoes though.

You were fortunate to have a mother like that.  I remember an ex-boyfriend who was taken care of by his mom and dad.  I told him that, since they were being so generous to him, what was going to happen when he, she or both of them, died.  He was going to be in trouble because his security blanket(s) would be gone. ??? ??? ??? :o ???

When we were growing up we didn't have a lot of money but my mother made up for it with her love. She always had a way of entaining up. Bless her. I know the younger generation can't understand it all, but i neve saw a tv until i was 11 and out on the ranch there wasn't even electic, phone or a dryer we hung clothes on the line. But we grew up loved and spent a lot of time with out familys.

I'm sure your mom is very proud of you and wanted to show that by helping you start out.  You are a very fortunate lady!!!  Good Luck!!!

That was very nice of her :) My aunt recently surprised me with a shopping trip. I just needed some new jeans but she got me a lot more than that.
