We had one from us down at the beach for our 40th anniversary two years ago with 22 in attendance. Small enough we could do some really fun stuff (like a scavenger hunt) and create some great memories (like a jam session with even little kids singing). The last one we had on my moms side had 283 people and all we did was eat and talk.

I love when it's time for a family reunion. I get to see everyone and it is always fun!

I dont have a close knit family so there are no reunions. When the older generation was still around (when i was very young) we had them, but my family rarely attended.

We had one last year.  Not sure if we are going to have one this year.  Enjoyed seeing family who live too far away to visit very often.

Its been a long time since my family had a family reunion The last one we had with all the family was a long time ago. There was 9 girls and 2 boys in my moms family. Oh what a time it was. A family affair the first day and then ca communtiyon the second day. We laughed, played and cried for the loved ones that had passed away. But now all of my aunts and uncles are gone and so many of the cousins. Most of whom were older then me. Miss those good ole days. Wished now that i had had a taperecorder, the stories i could write. My grandparents come here on a wagon and lived to see a man on the moon. We will never see those kind of changs they did.

Our last reunion was in 2011 and we were supposed to do another this year, but it was too many of us that were too busy to plan, but we are certainly planning to do another next year (2014).

This year our family reunion will be Special.

My youngest sister is getting married right at the City Park where we hold our Annual Reunion.

She lives in Texas.  Reunion is in Iowa.....so she is bringing her wedding to the masses of the family rather than have the family travel to Texas.

We are looking forward to the wedding/Family Reunion on June 22, 2013.

We're having our first one ever this August in Windsor Ontario Canada!  That's where I grew up and I have many cousins there. Plus others are coming from various parts of Canada and the U.S. - some of whom I haven't seen in decades; some I've never even met!  This is so exciting - can't wait!!

What a great idea!!! I'm sure the airlines don't appreciate that, but to me it's like singing the national anthem for a huge audience to guarantee a standing ovation!

Any one having a family reunion this year. Ours was a couple
Of years ago in Florida. I had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Floridays Resort.
The resort was absolutely beautiful. Hopefully the next one is 2014. :fish: :)
Haven't been to a family reunion in ages. They are great to catch up on. It is interesting how people change in appearance over the years and how some personalities get mellower. At my age though, the bad thing is learning who has died, critically ill or in a nursing home. And then there are the children of the cousins you forgot about. Next thing you know is all these people you are related to and you haven't the faintest idea who they are!
