Birds chirping at 3 AM??

Is this normal??

I don't remember hearing birds in the middle of the night before.

I never heard them at 3 am, but when the windows are opened I can hear them about 5 am.  It can be annoying to hear when you're trying to sleep!

I've heard them at 4 AM before...  I'm not usually up at 3 AM to hear anything.

I would rather be sleeping! Sometimes I can't sleep, so I get on the computer. Before I realize it, I've been up all night.

I've heard the birds before really early, like 5 or 6 am, but this was the first time I'd heard them this early.

They were singing like it was daytime!

There might have been a lot of light, from the moon, city lights. No its not unusual.

Yeap the birds here start early in the morning too! Abut 3am also! When its still pitch dark out! I guess they didn't get the memo lol

I have heard them about that time but I guess they usually wait until sunrise.

OP your poor birds have insomnia too! lol
ours are super noisy all day long but I never hear them in the middle of the night

Seems a little early for chirping to me but I'm not much of an expert on birds.  I woke up about 4 or 5 the other morning to a sound like someone was beating on a drum (am not close enough to hear neighbors) however I wondered if it was a woodpecker.  Who knows?

I don't normally wake up at that hour but one day I heard the birds chirping before 3AM and the bird was loud!!! I was shocked how early it was!!!

That is a bit unusual.  An hour or two early.  Maybe they were having a meeting.
