is it possible to love 2 people??

my best friend swears she is in love with 2 people and i keep telling her i dont see how that is possible, she may have feeling for one and love the other but i just cant see loving both equally....but she says she is in love with them both....an i mean she says it is real genuine love like between 2 people...i said ok love between 2 not 3...and they both love her....now she is trying to decide who it is she would be with......any takers on this one? because i just dont see it!

s. i agree with her. v can love more than 1. but, cant live with 2 she got to decide any one to b a life partner and 1 can b her true frd for ever.

Sorry I can't help you. I've heard about this before, but I do agree with you I don't think it's possible to love two people at once. Or maybe she can; She has love for one and is in love with the other.

Right i agree you can love many people but to truly be in love thats one person that no matter what you come back to. People come in and out of your life all the time. Its going to come down to who will still be with her in the end of a situation or crisis.

Well I think that you can choose to love anybody or anything...meaning that you can love two different people for different reasons.However,being "in love" is a different story.You can love both and be"in love" with only one.I've been there.

People come in and out of our life all the time, but when you have that one and special person and then you would not have to love two people you should just love the one you have commmented your to and love them as God as love us.

Personally, I think you can love and be in love with many different people.  I think we love different people for different reasons.  Maybe one person is giving her one thing, comfort..intellectual stimulation..physicality..etc. and the other gives her something differently that she equally needs.  I don't believe you can find that one perfect person for you.  I believe my husband is 'the one' for me but is he perfect for me?  Like, if I put down all my 'qualifications' in a man would he fit every single one?  No but I still love him and can't see myself without him.  I know that sounds harsh, maybe I'm just jaded but I believe in love.  I believe it's completely possible to be in love with two people..yes.

Yes you can love two people at the same time.  We love many people in our lives and each is different.

You can love 2 people if its a brother or sister etc.  But impossible to be IN LOVE with 2 people at the same time.  Someone in that relationship is not getting what they deserve from that person and its not fair to them because too much is divided.

I think it is possible to be in love with two people at the same time. That being said, your friend does need to make a decision between the two though.

I think you can be in love with 2 people at the same time. If you have fallen in love with  people in the past, what if you had known them at the same time? Wouldn't you have been in love with both? But you do have to pick one. Or you will lose both of them.

Yes, it is possible to love two people because there are different types of love which often feel very much the same.  I love four different men, but that doesn't mean I can't live without them or I need to be romantically attached to them.  I care about them and I enjoy spending time with them and yes, I am attracted to them, but I would never date them or cheat on my boyfriend with them.  If your friend thinks she needs to be romantically attached to both of them, she is probably not experiencing true love, or simply doesn't understand it.
