Human Task Tip
« on: May 27, 2013, 03:11:25 pm »
If you do the tasks that require writing answers to ?'s, make sure you allot yourself plenty of time. If you walk away from the computer with it partially done and resume later, you will lose all your hard work and it does go on for pages! I sacrificed 45 mins of time from getting interrupted.

I found out today that if you let the timer run out on your task, you will lose your hard work that way, as well.  I had tried to learn a new task. It was the one where you categorize pictures.  I was having to read the guidelines over and over again for each picture.  I was taking my time, wanting to do it correctly so as not to lose accuracy.  I could have gone faster, but didn't realize I was being timed.  After the second page, I got the message that I had timed out.  At least now, I understand the directions and hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to do it again and move faster.

I think I did one of these once.  It took forever and you only get a penny!  Seems silly.

Yes, totally make sure there are no distractions.  I try to do the tasks before my kids get home from school or else I'll totally mess up on the tasks that are timed.

Thank you very much for the tip! I hate putting that much time into an offer and becoming distracted by a phone call or whatever and have that much time be wasted.

I am slow with the tasks as well, I am trying to get better at it.

The Human Intelligence Tasks are a great way to earn quick and often easy pennies. Those pennies sure do stack up fast! FC always has the most varied selection of tasks to choose from.
