my neighbor had a stroke and can't walk well.
She bought a kitty and the little one "got away from her" and ran into the hallway.

I have one from memory.  My cousin gave my ex-husband and me a French gray cat with a big head that she named Grandbois.  We got him home fine.  We had to move and couldn't put Grandbois in the moving van, so my ex-husband walked him down to the new apartment, which happened to be 3 houses away.  My friend said she looked up, saw him coming with Grandbois, and couldn't get away fast enough.  She got on her knees, started crawling and ran into her mother, who was also running away from my cat.  I asked her why she was so afraid, and she said she was attacked by a cat when she went into labor with one of her 4 sons.  The sink in the apartment was stopped up, so my ex bought some Drano to put in the sink.  We covered it up with a big thick board.  I came in and didn't see Grandbois as usual.  I pulled forward the side of the bed and discovered that Grandbois was dead from drinking Drano water.   You asked for a kitty story and that is my story.  I was sad that he died, but I had memories of him.
