Oklahoma storms
« on: May 23, 2013, 06:41:55 pm »
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Oklahoma in those terrible storms.  For all the lives that were lost, especially the young children and the love ones and the parents and siblings they left behind, have my deepest sympathy.

I have relatives in Texas and Oklahoma, and so far they are safe. But they as I hope all of us are praying for those and maybe helping in some small way to those affected. Maybe FusionCash could set up a donation fund, that those interested in could donate from their cash out a 1.00 or two or maybe their whole earnings to a worthy cause such as the Red Cross or whatever. I don't make much being On Social Security, but I would be happy to donate some of my Earnings to a particular organization. I don't know, just a thought.

Tornadoes are horrible.  Natural disasters make me feel helpless.

I have never been in a disastrous storm but the feeling of helplessness, I'm sure must be overwhelming. The only thing you can do in that situation is to pray and call on a something larger than yourself.

My Mother told me about this guy she works with moved from the place that was hit the most...(He has a wife and two little girls)
He was from Moore (I think that was the town?)
He moved to Arkansas and less than a week later the hospital where he worked was in rubble...
But, the exact same office he worked in a truck was lifted by the tornado and went STRAIGHT THROUGH HIS OFFICE...
I DO NOT believe in coincidences that was a true MIRACLE I BELIEVE IT!!!

I agree! I hope the ones to come aren't as bad as the ones that have already hit.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

The H.A.A.R.P. map has been showing bright pink in that area for the last 2 days, if it were me, I would have taken a long drive somewhere else, stay safe!

good idea though.  I think we can do that to help those in needs.  But if now you can help through other organization.
