My husband went to college for computer networking and he is a very very intelligent man. Guess what? He makes minimum wage at a call center. Wonderfil economy we have going people.

I on the other hand, am a self-employed web writer but I am currently in college for photography.

went in my 20's after getting home from the navy...changed my major a few times...wanted to do it all. that got expensive. now going back for secondary education- hopefully, i won't change my mind, again. As far as this economy, krxstal, your right, i left an unskilled job with great benefits, making twice what my husband was making to fulfill my dream of being a teacher...i'll be making less than that unskilled/no degree required job that i left -as a teacher - go figure!

I not only went to college at Indiana University Bloomington where I majored in psychology, I also just graduated from Strayer University with my MBA.  Big freakin whoop - I work at a telecommunication call center for less than what I was making at the job I got laid off from (about $30 less an hour than I was told my MBA was going to be worth).

I've been in college for almost four years now. Started in Architecture. Then I took a year and a half off to "experiment" with other majors. Hated it so I went back with my passion of Architecture. So now I have 1 1/2 years left before I can get my Bachelors.
I hope there's jobs out there when I'm done with my Masters.

i am currently in college. i plan to go to Vet School, but the way things are going i may have to forgo that plan for monetary reasons...already been in prevet studies for 2.5 years
