Will moving from my house risk disqualification?
« on: May 12, 2013, 09:30:19 am »
As I've asked in the topic I was wondering will I be risking my FC membership if I move to another house?  Or what about upgrading my main personal computer to another computer?  I would not want my membership to be in trouble for this and I'm sure you all as other members have experienced these things already.

I have wondered about these questions myself. I have also wondered what would happen if and when I buy a new computer or change internet providers.

I think the best thing to do is open a support ticket and ask the administrator. I am going to keep watching your discussion to see what other members say.

I don't think that's a problem because I can log on from both my house and my office so it really doesn't matter where you are located.

You should only have a problem if you move to a location outside of the areas that fusioncash accepts users (usa, canada, uk). I went to South Korea for an 8 month vacation and when I logged in they locked my account, but I didn't lose anything. When I got back to the states, I submitted a support ticket and account was unlocked and back to normal. I have also moved 4 or 5 times within the US with no impact on my FC account.

You can find me hanging out on Google :)

I don't think moving will disqualify you, but to my understanding as long as you use the same computer. I think it has something to do with the IP address. Because I have moved since joining FC, but I am using the same computer.

moving is not an issue.  they go by the isp address on your computer.  you can move all over the country a million times if you want too and you will still be ok.  :)

That's great to know! I just don't want to make a mistake and risk being banned permanently.  As it is I wanted to try logging in from another computer in my house but I didn't want to risk it.  Either way I think before I do any switches I will more than likely submit a support ticket.

While I can't answer you on the question about moving, I can tell you that I changed my computer back in February and I've not had any problems getting my payments since I changed computers.

You're fine as long as you're not sharing the same internet connection as another member.

I moved right after joining FC and all I did was change my address under my account.  I never incurred any problems.  My husband also does surveys but he is not in Fusion Cash.  One member per household applies and we take that seriously.  There have been times when our internet connection was down or when we had 2 desktops they both shorted out...I had to go the library for a few days before I invested in a laptop..  Honesty is always the best policy and as long as your move is legitimate and you keep up with your personal account information you shouldn't have any problems.

I have changed internet providers and I have used 3 different computers in my house and I have never had any problems. The problems occur when more than one account is being accessed on the same internet connection. So as long as you have your own personal network, you are fine. Accessing your account in a public place may give you problems if someone else has a Fusion Cash on that same public server.
