I used to crochet a lot. My late mother-in-law taught me. She was fantastic! She made gorgeous doilies, afghans, shawls, even made some dresses. I stopped when I developed tendinitis. They say crocheting is good for arthritis, but my hands started aching so bad, I couldn't hold the needles very well.
Since hubby was on the road all week and I worked 2 jobs, when we moved into our newly built house, we hired a friend to move our stuff into a shed. My crochet stuff disappeared as did a lot of other stuff, so I haven't really done anything in the past 20 years. I'd love to restart since I'm now forcefully retired, but can't spend the money right now. I am looking for another hobby, but haven't found anything satisfying.
