NHL vs NBA Playoffs

Does anyone follow both the NBA and NHL playoffs?  Which is better and why?

   Right now our family is playing the NFL playoff.  Our home team the Toronto Maple Leafs actually made it into the playoffs.  But my daughter has fallen for Syd Crossby and she is over the edge cheering for the Penguins.  Once a girl turns into a teenage priorities change from loving a team and game to "he's so hot", .  She still love the game so that's good

      I don't really watch either thn NHL Playoffs or the NBA Playoffs, but at least I hear people talk the NBA Playoffs or see highlights on TV.... I didn't even know the NHL Playoffs started..lol

I would have to choose the NHL for sure, mainly because of the talent and real game play vs the NBA which has neither

I am actually watching the NHL playoffs, because Redwings are my favorite.

NHL playoffs are better. There is less scoring so every goal means something. Also since there are so few goals many games go into overtime and because it is sudden death any team could end the game at any moment.

The NHL playoffs does certainly have much closer games and more overtime games.  I follow both a little here and there, but I always try to watch most games of the NBA Finals since it's sorta a summertime tradition since I was a kid and of the Bulls and Michael Jordan era.

Who do you think will be in the NHL (Stanly Cup) Finals and NBA Finals.  For me, the NHL is a crapshoot and I would have no idea.  In the NBA Finals, I will take the Miami Heat vs. the Memphis Grizzles in a surprise finals.

Seems like a weird question to me just because any given person is going to say one is better than the other because they like that sport better.  For that reason I will say neither and the best is the MLB playoffs.

Don't watch hockey at all, be I was aware that they had resumed playing after a long strike of something of that order. NBA I ignore until the playoffs, and have almost lost interest in that as well. They just play to many games in a season and there is just no way that any team member can perform 100% for every game. Hence I think the fans are seeing very much less than they should. The play offs are a bit different, they all play their best then, but by then, I am not all that 'into' it.

Love the NBA playoffs.  Not really much of a hockey person, but my kids watch.

More people seem to like Basketball and the NBA is more popular than the NHL, but the NHL Playoffs are there own monster of nature because games are so close and there are so many overtime games and many times even the higher seeds (teams with worst regular season records) can make long playoff runs and even win it all.
