I live in Southern California, so was not affected by it.  However, I keep tabs on the research done by a couple Astrophysicists.  A couple have predicted this weather, so it was not a surprise to me.

I also do not watch main stream news, because they do not give entirely accurate information.

I have yet to see the full May predictions, but I think there may be more (but not much) snow predicted for certain areas.

No snow here in western MA, But I have seen snow in  early May in years past.  Not uncommon for New England but still is a shock when it happens.  We Haven't had snow in May or even late April for quite some time though, and that is ok by me!! :cat: ;)

When I was in junior high it snowed in Colorado in early May. Even despite it being Colorado, it was unusual and surprising! I remember being in class and looking out the window and seeing it had started to snow.

I believe it was in 2009 when our mountains here in Southern California experienced a freak snow event.  It was odd.

I'm also in WI and just 30 miles north of us they got snow and lots of it. All we got was rain. I'd much rather have the rain than the snow!

No snow in southwestern Ohio but I'm not planting flowers and tomatoes yet.  I wait until after the 10th of May at least and preferably after the 15th because we have been known to have a frost or even a freeze before then.
