Do you ever go over 30... just to be safe?

Sorry if this a stupid question but just curious, how do you guys keep track of how many posts you have made each month?

Not a stupid question.
Easiest way is to click the paid to post link by your name at the top of the forum, then in the body of the letter you click the bonus request form link. From there you'll see how many you have made. You have to be a little careful as they may not all qualify. You can view your posts from there as well.

Last month I missed my forum posting bonus because I wasn't at home or around my laptop half the time.  But usually I try to go a few posts over 30 and then I look through all the posts I made to make sure I have contributory and eligible posts.  If you post in the contests forum those don't count towards your 30 posts so you have to make sure if you post in that forum you can't count those posts.  As a tip I try to make sure I contribute something to each topic and if I see a post I made was small or short I try to add one or two more posts to my total that contribute more to a discussion just to be on the safe side.  There are a lot of people on here that post a lot more than 30 in a month but remember it makes no difference.  You only need 30 eligible posts in a month to qualify for a forum bonus and the rest of the posts you can be helpful to others if they need questions answered if you would like but just remember you only get credit for the 30 that month.

Yes, I always do more then the 30, as you indicated to be on the safe side.

I usually try to do 2 or more posts a day, that way I have more than enough to qualify.... then I check my posts towards the end of the month to make sure FC shows enough "qualifying" posts.  That system has always worked great for me.

Sure do!  Just in case.  Never hurts to be extra prepared.

I would just to be safe.  Because some posts don't count that are in certain Discussion Boards.

I don't go over 30. Simply because I'm too lazy and I usually get away and get credit with the bare minimum.
