I would try to get involved in certain activities, e.g. church, card clubs, bowling, and sometimes you find someone you really click with and thence become friends.

I make friends when I share a common interest ground as mine with, hobbies, movies, foods etc. Making friends as I found out as I get older is getting very hard to do. I only have 2 best friends in my life that I can totally trust to share just about anything with and not be gossip around behind my back when I am not around. I have friends but only 2 best friends. The rest are just friends when I see them or just hang out with for a night.

sometimes you make friends in the place you least expect it. And those friends are the ones that last forever.

I went years without feeling like I had many friends, but then a couple years ago I started attending Church and I started helping out in the kitchen and cleaning and things, and before I new it, I realized I have made quite a few very good friends. If I needed something I would call upon these friends, and I trust them with my life. They are more like family that some of my blood family.

I have very few REAL friends. I used to be a really out going fun person, but about 12 years ago I went through some really hard times and I found out who my real friends were.I stay home a lot now because of my health and don't get to make many new friends anymore. It is very hard for me to trust again.

I don't really have many friends anymore. Like 1 or 2 true friends. I used to have lots of friends or so I thought. But I eventually realized that they were not true friends. A true friend is very hard to come by.

A true friend is very hard to come by. When you find one it is always best to keep them if possible. My very best friend passed away 3 years ago while being treated for leukemia. Friends like that are few and far between. :crybaby2:

I am happy with just my handful of really great friends.  with that said I have found that I make new friends all the time now because I have a young child and so I am more socialable for his sake.
