Yes, I volunteer two times a week at a local nursing home.  It's sad, there are so many residents there who never get any visitors.  We try to at least make them happy by having someone, even a stranger, come in to see them and spend time with them.

I did in the past.  I am looking for other opportunities.  I joined a few groups on meetup.com but one is new and they haven't posted anything and the other doesn't really appeal to me.

Volunteering can be a way of life, like random act of kindness. Yes I volunteer to visit Nursing Homes. You can do it in organization. American Red cross, Hospital"s  etc. :star: :angel12:

Yes I Do. As a matter of fact I am here in California visiting my husband since last week and we have done 2 four hour shifts at the Humane Society. Those doggies are soooo sweet!

I am a member of the American Legion and Volunteer for Bingo, cleanup and other events that they sponsor. I am retired and it keeps my mind and hands busy a couple of days a week.

Yes, I volunteer with projects at my church (bake sales, rummage sales) and at a museum.

Wow, this makes me feel like I am not doing enough.  I help out by donating food and household supplies based on freebies and cheapies that I get while shopping.  You can only use so much.  I figure this is a way that I can be more generous and donate alot, without having to spend alot of my actual money.

With working full time and numerous other responsibilities, I usually do not have the time or energy to volunteer much.

I run a lot so I try to volunteer at races every once in a while. I volunteered at one last month and will do another one in about 5 weeks.

I might as well, most of my time is unpaid for. That is no lie, it is worse that being a doctor, never leave me alone. Can't even watch a hockey game or do anything.

When I was working a full-time job and a part time job I did volunteer my time. Now I can not volunteer my time because of my health.
