My mother-in-law is Queen for the Day in our family. We usually don't spend too much because she objects, but we don't like for her to make a big fuss over mealtime. I don't know what we will do for lunch, but I hope something simple. Everyone else in the family I hope will show up. The last 2 holidays, we were missing some of the siblings. Hoping for the best.

I know I will be in church and, more than likely, go to visit my 87 year-old mother in-law.  She is in a nursing home.  My husband loves to visit her; at least he goes to see her once a week.  There are so many that never see their families. :-[

I will visit my mom which will be 85 yrs old may 15th. My brothers and sisters willl be throwing her a surprize birthday party and mothers day the same time. I dont have any of my grandmothers living, but hope to have a great day like every day I see her. She lives out of state and almost 4 hours away so it is hard to see her every day. she really enjoys us all taking turns calling her every day and writing to her.

My husband and I have both lost our mothers several years ago, so all we can do on Mothers' Day is remember them.  We miss them very much.  Now, though, I am the "mother" on Mothers' Day.  But I have a wonderful time with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.

I don't know yet, too early to plan.  I just pray and hope I am here to see Mother's Day!

not sure but spend the day with my mom i think people including myself spend way to much money and energy on the perfect gift when in reality the best gift is the presence of each other !!!

Coincidentally I’ve come across a few really good photo project ideas that would be perfect for Mother’s Day ...

If you miss your mother that much, perhaps you can buy some flowers and pay a visit to the cemetery where she was buried. When I visited my parents’ grave on Mother’s or Father’s Day, people actually bought flowers and placed them on the tombstone for that occasion.
