I would do this except I have been told people on high blood pressure medicine shouldn't drink grapefruit juice - too bad because I am sure it would boost my current weight loss efforts and I love grapefruit and juice especially pink grapefruit.   :BangHead:

I bought the book "17 day diet".  It worked real good, I lost 14 pounds in 17 days.  Try it.  I did it for a month and then Thanksgiving and Christmas came along and I had to cook and I gained a few of the pound back.  But I need to get back on it.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

LOL!! I know what you mean but it works.  I haven't been doing it lately, I've been adding a small amount of lemon juice in all my drinks, try that.

There MUST be something better tasting than grapefruit!  Oh, anyone else know of a different drink or something else to help burn off them calories as quick as grapefruit juice or grapefruit??? YUK! :crybaby2: :dontknow: :sad1: :'(

yeah i like grapefruit also more like red ones, but, lossing weight i have a better way and you lose alot of weight in 45 days no exercise and you can eat all you want and make money etc.

To help me with weight loss, I drink water with lemons. It helps with taking off the weight.  I drink it all through the day.

I switched away from red meats and went with turkey and veggies and fruits and water. No soda pop, No fast food, No fried foods. Lost 40 pounds. with walking.

Amen.  And even if it didn't I can't stand grapefruit.  Yuck.  How can you stand that bitter taste? 

I don't understand why they can't come up with more effective medicines to help people lose weight or at least stop cravings.  There is a new one out that is FDA approved Qnexa I think and it also goes by other names.  Anyway, very few doctors will have anything to do with it because it is new.  Also it is really tightly controlled.  For example, if you get a prescription there are a handful of national pharmacies that are allowed to fill it.  CVS is one.

I have always believed that stuff like this gets held back because if there was a pill that people could take to help, the doctors would not make so much money treating all the illness caused by people being overweight.  And of course, the fake diet companies would go out of business.   

If they can make a drug that made me not want to smoke then I really believe they can make one that makes me not want to eat.  It is the same type of craving.

I Just Do A Little Cardio Every Day. About 20 to 30 Minutes A Day. Burns A Lot Of Calories And I Lose A Few Pounds :thumbsup:

i was always heavy for my height and age then one morning i awoke to find i was not hungery. i was worried at first but then i realized this must be normal. don't worry when you get older your weight magically takes care of itself
