downloading torrents question...

so, i have been doing some serious downloading in the past month and i just wanted to know if there was anyone out there who knows how to reduce the amount of space that they take up when I store them?  It's been taking up WAAAYYYY too many gigs and I'm running out of space quickly.....

You need to save them to a file, then move them to a usb if you can or you could convert them to dvd and get them off of your computer so you could delete them. I know there are zip files that you could compress them to, but I don't know which ones..maybe you could google it but I would be careful doing stuff like that unless you really know alot about it.
