I am going camping next week. The last time I was camping we went to Georgia/South Carolina border in the mountains there and it was POURING rain and freezing! Horrible camping experience. Hoping this year it turns out better. We ended up driving to Atlanta last time and getting a hotel because we were going to Six Flags the next day.

Where at? Been sunny here in Florida most of the week, but looks as if there is a 40% chance of rain this weekend.

In my area it was suppose to rain today but, now it has changed to tomorrow. I just laid new seed, I guess I will have to go out and wet it down again. I was sure hoping for rain today!! At least it is suppose to rain the next couple of days so that will help the situation. I have been busting my back for the past 5 days with tilling, raking, deweeding and debugging the area that I have seeded. Luckily the birds haven't attacked it yet!!

It never fails, does it? It loves to rain here especially on the Fourth of July to ruin the fireworks.

Oh send it our way out state is drying up. When the wind blows it is dust everywhere. Used to be in the southern part of the State and it now like a dustbowl all over.

Get a van. If it does not rain, set up the tents...if it rains, camp in the van. Try to stay dry all the time.

Sorry to hear that - is it possible to go camping in the rain with the right equipment though?
