The first thing that came to mind was escargot.  A friend was having some at a lounge and let me try it.  I liked it, but when I tried to make it at home it was horrible.  :P

I am NOT adventurist when it comes to food.
Probably squirrel.  And not on purpose, a friend lied to me.

I was tricked into eating cow tongue when I was 10 years old.  I also ate kangaroo at a restaurant one time just to try it.

I really don't like experimenting with food...I think the weirdest think that I ever ate had to be chicken livers (i know, not weird at ll probably).  But I didn't choose to, I was lied to.....

Alligator sausage and it was quite good.

Also had some beaver kind of like a stew or goulash many years ago at a game tasting that was very good.

I'm not too adventurous when it comes to food.  I think the weirdest food I ate was frog (not just the legs).  It was pretty good. But not something I would order normally.

Cow's tongue and tripe...It sounds gross but if it's cleaned and cooked by a good cook it doesn't taste that bad.

I don't know what the weirdest food I ever ate was but I can tell you this much. One time I ate lamb, it was real slimy and gross to me . I ate it at a restaurant where there food wasn't labeled so I ate it. I found out while I was eating it what it was by asking my husband. One other time me and my husband ate ate a sea food restaurant and we ate a red rubbery meat and asked what the waitress what it was and she said it was shark. It was real gross and strange but I don't know if it normally was or it wasn't cooked right. The reason why we didn't know it was shark is because we ordered the variety sea food platter.

I'm not a risk taker when it comes to food.  I was visiting in Portugal one summer and had a fish head stew.  That was strange.

My mother fixed cow's tongue once when I was a child.  She dipped it in egg then rolled in crushed saltine crackers and fried it.  It was really delicious.
