I have been seeing the nickname for Kathy [Kathleen; Katherine].
It is "Kat"
It's the first time I have ever seen that one.

My daughter's name is Rosa; her nickname is Rose.  My nickname is Tina.  It is short for my name, Fatenia.  My sister's name is Casandra; her nickname is Sandy.  My grandson is called Dootie; his name is Roshaun.  I have heard of nicknames that are worse.

My hubby calls me T or Tam since my name is Tammie. My older brother that is deceased now called me Tam as well but the rest of my family just called me by my name. When I was little and my Dad was living he would call me little miss sunbeam.

Okay.... I'm Debra but most of the family calls me Debbie. (but I was given the nickname of TJ after my favorite band member back in 82 and it has stuck.) My oldest daughter is Rachel but called Rache or Rach. My 18 year old her given name is Patricia but we call her Patti her friends and cousins on the other hand have come up with multiple names for her: pooh bear, Pieee, patti cakes, and others. the 10  year old is Jessica but called Jessi and Jess. But she is also called Peanut.

My name is Christine.  My husband's name is Christopher.  People call us both Chris.  People also call him Tex, because he is from Texas.  I am often called Red, because of my hair or Hermione, because I am a big know-it-all.

My name is Rebecca which I really never liked so I was called Becky which is the nickname for Rebecca. I alway wrote Becky until I went to open a bank account and they told me I couldn't use Becky I had to use Rebecca. I still went by Becky until later on in life well out here on FB I use Rebecca. I have been called Reba also.
