When they're caught, I hope they are put under the jail.  There is no reason to do something so deliberate and cruel. :-

It is scary that with all the security they had there that that kind of thing can still happen. We hesitate now when we think about attending large events like that. I never thought I would feel like that in the US.

Our freedoms are being taken advantage of.  I don't know about you guys but there are enough potential dangers with natural disasters, accidents and disease out there.  With what's happening in schools with shootings, bombings and national events and scenes like 911 developing...it makes me scared to leave my home to do anything.  Yesterdays marathon bombing came closer to home than I'd ever thought.  3 people in a town about 15 min. away from me were there 2 contestants and one observer.

It is hard to comprehend WHY anyone would do things like this bombing at the Boston Marathon.

My bosses' brother-in-law who is a teacher in our schools was running in this race.  We had just been celebrating his time...... he was #469 out of 26,839 runners.  We had been tracking his progress.  He was running 6 minute and some odd second miles!!

Luckily, he had already finished the race and had left the area when the bombs went off.

That's a relief he had finished.  That was a great result for his time, too!

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their family and friends, as well.  This was appalling and devastating.

The world has gone crazy! This country is getting to be like the middle east or other unstable places you read about in the news, but never expect to witness first hand. I feel sorry for all the people that were hurt or killed.
