I guess I have to cut my grass today. Both neighbors cut theirs, so....off I go. Have a great day!

My hubby started cutting ours over a month ago. He uses an old push mower that requires extra cutting.

I think ours will need it in a few days. It's starting to look uneven where some patches haven't woken up yet and other are growing like crazy. Luckily none of the neighbors have done theirs yet so it doesn't make mine stand out as a mess. Lol

It will be a week or so before we have to think about cutting grass and only then if we get some warmer weather in between. My husband usually does the mowing with a large ride on mower so that's one task I no longer do.

Ain't that the truth. I started on mine about 3 weeks ago and found out that winter has not been to kind to me and my fitness. I have the aching muscle syndrome. I have a push mower to use on several properties and it is wearing me out to mow almost every day to keep up with the grass. I will be glad when I can get my riding mower repaired so it won't be so time consuming and physical. Good Luck!

Yes its time to go to the shed and get to spiffing up the riding lawn mower.  Its been a long hard winter and I'm sure it needs a bit of TLC for the summer months!  But happy to do it.  Love
Spring/Summer  they never last long enough around here.

Did ours yesterday :)
The grass goes to our rabbits and guinea pigs.
It's been so beautiful lately, thought we could take them to the outside grazing cages a couple days ago and skip mowing at all. But rain blew in the next day and dropped the night temps down to the 30s - brrr! Had to bring them back in. Guess we're gonna wait till May rather than chance it. :P
Most of our lawn is covered in chickweed this year anyways, which doesn't really grow tall, so not a big deal to mow.

We have to wait until our lawn mower gets repaired I think it is taking longer because it might qualify to be under warranty. The grass is getting really long and I really want to mow it but we have to wait.

It's still a little too early to cut, maybe in a few weeks.  We have a lawn care company who cuts the grass, so that's one less thing either one of us has to do!

our grass may  need cutting in a few days. Just hope it warms up first . It is only 40 out. It is a bit nippy to cut the grass! Hope we get warmer weather soon! :peace:
