Paid to call
« on: April 11, 2013, 10:39:56 am »
WOW! I just tryed the paid to call virus expert # with a legitimate question and was really talked to very rudely. This is only the second paid to call I have ever done and now I am kind of scared to try anymore. Has anyone else had a bad experience with them?

 Dang So-Sorry to hear/read that ' nannycoe1', I've never had any problems with the PTCs... I done as many as FC has offered, around 8 so far...Whenever FC puts one up I'm on-it, only thing is FC don't put many up for me now... I've learned here on the forum, from other members, that after you do the 1st 6 or 7 they become few-and-far-between [that I can contest too].  :sad1:
Anywho; I just got one (1st in about 2 months), for Auto Ins. and spoke with a right-nice guy... My "trick" is; after I do the howdy-do part (Hi,How are ya; Hello, nice to speak with you...) I'll ask where they are at (I'm in California) then go off subject and start talking about that, especially if I know about where their from, this guy was in Knoxville TN. Me being a dummy thought that's where we (USA) keep all the gold...Yeah,Yeah He reminded me it's Fort Knox... So we talked about gold for 3 minutes...He told me all about watching a History Channel program about gold... I then said (after about 5 mins.) someone was at the door and I'd call them back... It was all very friendly.  :)
OK Now; What I wanted to say was "Don't give-up" the PTCs are a good thing, As far as offers go, they pay the best for little effort.. I'm sure you'll run across some jerks and/or rude people now and then (both male & female) but just keep them on the line for 3 or 4 minute and there ya go.$$$ Heck you'll find rude people everywhere only now ya don't need to look at them... Keep trying you'll get the hang of it.

Auto Insurance III    2013-04-11    $2.50    Approved
P.S. Note to 'El'... I know you don't get many now also, I was going to write a post to inform you of this new PTC (I still might ;-)... I know you read these offers... So hurry before it's gone... OK, I'm off to do some TASKs.  :)

I have done several paid to call offers and always with good results. I have never had anyone be rude to me. I did the Paid To Call Virus offer. if my memory is correct, I believe it is a company based in India or the call center was in India. The person I spoke to had a strong accent and there was trouble communicating but she was very nice. Maybe it was just a language barrier. What did the person you spoke to say or do?   :dontknow:

jsmith, I love reading your posts.  I love that you chose small-talk with the insurance guy - great way to rack up minutes!  I never would have thought of that!  LOL

I think it must have been India and it was a man with an accent. I tryed to ask him about a popp up problem I am having and he just got really hateful when I started explaining it and would not give me a chance to finish, then said HAND and hung up.

It seems like different times of the month there are more paid to call offers available.  I have yet to do one, but may try one of these days.

I have called a couple of the PTC.  Most have been fine but i do recall an insurance one where the guy was pretty abrupt and rude.  It made me feel like i didn't want to do any more PTC but then i tried again and had positive experiences.

I did a few of the offers and everyone was always polite.  I haven't called the tech support d probably won't.  So sorry you were treated rudely.

I think Paid to Call offers are the easiest money you can make on Fusioncash. You get paid $2 to literally talk for 3-4 minutes. Most of them do credit although yes, I agree with you, some of them just don't pay up.
