  I guess not.  I have lived where I am for 13 years.  I love it out here where everyone knows me and watches my home.

i am a nice person but my neighbors really dont talk to me i guess its because i dont do the same things they do because im a mom and my first priority is my son. i dont have time to hang out all day but it would be nice if they would just knock on my door every once in a while just to chat. i mean sometimes we have cookouts but outside of that there is not that much interaction

There are tons of other factors that I would also consider.  My first option would be to see if I could be more neighborly.

It all depends, I would normally take "oldbuddy's" stand and say the H*** with them, then I think, Do I really want to live there? I lived in an area which I loved at first but, then it started getting really crowded and it was hard to even get out of the housing area there was so much traffic. I am the type that does not like crowds, more of a rural type guy. When They started plans for a strip mall of 6 stores at the entrance to the housing area that was the last straw, I moved!!

I guess i have been very lucky in the places that i have lived. Neighbors were always great. Although i am  fairly quite, but  guess that appeals to most neighbors.  But thank god i did have good neighbors when i was going through so much tratment on my back after 2 carwrecks in 3 months. (not my fault) They were alwasys bring me food and offering to clean my apartment andor just keeping me company. I had no family there.
