Gas grill or charcoal

What do you like better?  I use both, like gas for quickness, but also like charcoals.

i prefer the gas ones over charcoal --just easier for me and i hate trying to get the charcoal started good--i have never been good at that!! i also just bought about a year ago a electric outside portable grill that i love!!! i can use it indoors also so if it is dead winter i can still grill!!!

I'm KINDA OLD FASHION; I LEAN TOWARD THE CHARCOAL GRILL. IT'S JUST SOMETHING ABOUT GRILLING THAT AND WATCHING AND SMELLING THAT HOTCHARCOAL.

almost every weekend my husband likes to grill outside and when he does we use charcoal we have never tried gas but maybe one day it will happen but for now we use charcoal

I PREFER GAS OVER CHARCOAL WELL CHARCOAL TAKES TO LONG BURN OFF STARTING FLUID. IF YOU WERE USING PROPANE THE MEAT WOULD BE DONE BY THEN

I also use both.  I have a grill with two sides one of each.  I prefer the charcoal taste better though.

I love to use charcoal when I am bbq-ing chicken only. It just tastes so much better and the chicken is so moist. When you cook chicken on a gas grill, it just had that gas burning bitter taste on it that I don't like. When it comes to grilling steak and other kinds of meat, I prefer the gas grill. And yes grilling and bbq-ing are 2 different methods.

Definitely charcoal.  I guess I'm old-fashioned but I love the smell of it!!!  It screams summertime to me and brings back such great memories...

Preferred gas grill , easy and not lots of mess after. And you can always add some wood to smells good like peacan or mesquit tree.

It depends.  The gas grill is far more convenient, but I prefer charcoal for cooking certain foods.  I find that there is a difference in flavor for some things.
