Post Mania

Hey Kohler and Admin, we should do another post mania before the weather gets too nice and everyone wants to be outside! What do you think?

Post mania is where there is a number of posts to be accepted, say 1500, and you just keep posting and posting. Rewards are given for numerous different things. Using a certain phrase, using emoticons, being the XX poster (say 10, 20, 50 or 100th, etc) It is a blast and usually takes a few hours. That is why I suggested we do one soon before the weather gets nice and no one wants to commit that kind of time.

This was fun last time I won a couple prizes and that was just for hitting certain numbered posts.  Unfortunately my time is limited from time to time but it would be better if it was on a weekend maybe for me not sure how everyone else feels about that?

Yes, yes, yes!  I did the last one with you guys and it was a blast!!!!  i actually participated the whole time and never hit anything (Wow, I know!), but had so much fun.

Post Mania is a time that Kohler will put aside for just massive posting.  I mean keep posting and posting and posting like crazy.  He has many, many random numbers and whoever posts on those numbers gets a bonus and it could really add up.  The rules of the last one were simple.  Only that each post had to be two sentences long.  But who cares how short the sentences - just get them out there and get onto the next post.
There also were bonuses for using certain words, or mentioning certain topics, etc.  It was just a few hours of wild and crazy time with our FC friends here just getting crazy and throwing anything out. 

I did not get lucky last time, but I would do it again, because it was such a blast!

The only thing I really don't remember was if they credited those toward our thirty or not.  I don't remember, but it doesn't matter because it was so cool.

No, they do not count towards your thirty, but it is still fun! About a year and a half ago I was in one and in one of my posts, mentioned that the raccoons were getting into my bird feeders. Then Kohler and I got into a discussion about eating raccoon (GROSS!) but it was a fun conversation!

I missed out on the last one because I was busy. Unfortunately because of the way my weekends are now, I would probably miss it again if it's on a weekend, which I realize is the best time for everyone.
