Help with Free/No CC offers
« on: May 18, 2009, 01:29:17 pm »
I am pretty sure that FC will not sell out my information, but I am quiet skeptic about the Free/No CC offers. Do they sell out your information or spamming your emails and such? Thanks for answering this newbie.

FC will not give out your email, however when you are competing an offer and you give your email to a third party site, you are risking them using it for spam.

that's why it is a good idea to use a separate email account for offers so your personal email will not be flooded with spam.

if you enter an email that is different from the one you use for FC to avoid spam does this cause you to not get credit? thank you thank you

I don't really get that much spam email. Most of the e-mails have an "unsubscribe from mailing list" link near the bottom.

Yeah you definitely will start getting advertisements in your inbox but at the same time you can go and opt out of all of them, it's not the nasty "I'm the King of Bolivia and I wanna give you $39486532045 for having an Email address...". They're actually legit advertisements.

I set up a separate account when I started doing surveys.  It is just easier to keep track of surveys on one account and regular life on another.

Agreed with all of the previous posts recommending a separate email for this site.  In the few days I've been here, I've amassed 107 junk emails just for trying to get some extra cash.  In the end, though, it's not a huge issue because I can just ignore that folder.

If I had used my personal email account, however...  :BangHead:

I noticed I have been getting some extra spam male in my junk box.  I am starting to wish I had started a seperate email for surveys.  But you can opt out of the junk emails if you want too.  Just takes a little more time out of your day though.

its not too late to set up the new e-mail address..... it'll really be worth it in the long run.....

note: in my spam survey e-mail i have 2113 pieces of unread junk........ (i just checked....)

If you enter your email on the offers, they could sell it to others.  That is why I only bother with the dailys, but then again, the people who do the offers make a lot more money than I do.  LOL!

If you get a lot of junk mail, usually on the bottom of the email there is a link where you can unsubscribe to thier mailing list.  I go through my junk mail and do that once in a while.  It really helps out.  Or, I know a lot of people just have a different email account for surveys.  That is a good idea, wish I would have done it when I started.
