New Chain comes to Canada

     I was waiting anxiously for this chain to open inmy community.  On Tuesday the chain opened and long lines and excited shoppers went rushing in.  I so wanted to go but due to health reasons taking the bus was out of the question.  My husband happened to be off sick but I did not want to ask him to drive me to the other end of town.  Needless to say I was not able to go.
but what happened that evening when my daughter needed to be picked up from work, (and is close to the new store chain) just made me scream (not to loud, but I had some reaction).  They went over to take a quick look and made a "quick purchase".  Well I was making dinner and they confirmed it looks like the one we shop at in the the states, with a Canadian mix.  I cant wait to go and compare prices as well.  My daughter can't wait to get some new clothes she saw.

What "chain" are you talking about?  I had heard talk about Wal-Marts in Canada.

We have had Walmart's in Canada for years. I think what "sharg" was referring to was the "Target" stores that have begun to open all across Canada. They started to open in Ontario a few weeks ago and they will continue to open up more as the year goes on. We are also supposed to be welcoming "Marshall's" to Canada this year too. I can't wait!! Personally I love going to the states because of these stores but I will still go for the drive even once I get them here. I can just go more often now and save gas money at the same time.
