I will be in VA this year on vacation since it will be spring break for me and there won't be any school for me

Easter has always been about family in our house.  So this year will be spending it with family with dinner and time for decorating eggs.  We will be spending it a little more quite this year because mom passed a couple of months ago.

We will probably go to church and then have dinner with my family.  I wonder how much cooking I will have to do?

My sister in law is expecting my 2nd nephew on the 29th so we will see. It will be a last minute plan on when exactly we get together to celebrate and where! I still have to go out to prep myself as I have a lot of baking to do. My mom is unable to do much at the moment so I have taken the responsibility to bake for Easter on my shoulders. I will be making traditional ricotta filled and cheese filled goodies from my Italian background. Also little Easter Bunny shaped cakes and my favorite Easter shaped shortbread cookies. I just love any and all holidays really. Especially now that I have one nephew and a second one who is almost here. The little ones really make it special and give me more joy to go above and beyond in decorating, cooking, baking and celebrating!

to tell the truth I haven't celebrated easter in 20 years. So to tell you the truth I'm not going to do anything this year either.

We have not thought that far ahead, partly because my daughter is grown.  We will probably have a quiet day at home.  We may color eggs, because it is fun, but beyond that, who knows...

We don't celebrate Easter so it is just the same as any other weekend day, except everything is closed.
