enviromentally friendly on holidays
« on: March 15, 2013, 12:37:54 pm »
I was wondering how many people when on holidays are enviromentlly friendly while in hotels?  What do you do to help.
One thing we do is reuse our towels and face clothes.  Being sure to hang everything to air dry you can get more use out of your toewls, saving on the amount of laundry, water, hydro.  We also try to make our trips when driving so we can stop at the areas sites and shopping within the same area.  Sometimes it makes the dy long and tiring but we always plan a down day.  We also bring a water filter drinking bottle so we can fill the bottel instead of buying bottled water.  And the easiest is we look for blue boxes to recycle.  Hope your enjouing your day.

We reuse our towels in hotels also.  There's no need to have replacements each and every day.
