Most of my neighbors are from other countries as well. I love America, so no I would never leave. Other outcries are beautiful to visit, but not to live in.

I would move to another country but, there would be alot of factors in that decision. It would have to be a democratic society for one!! Alot of other things would weight on weather or not I would move.

I have moved to another country several times.    I spent a year living in Germany which was really great.  I spent another year living in South Korea which was much much different culturally, but still really fun.  Last year, I moved to Canada, so not nearly as different, but this time I have a family and we are planning on staying longer than 1 year.

I have traveled through Europe and would love to do more traveling.  As far as living anyplace other than the USA, never!  I know we have problems with crime, drugs, economy, etc. but in my opinion this is still the greatest country.  We have freedoms other countries can only dream of, yes we have poverty but not like other countries have, travel yes, move no!

Don't forget, when you move to another country you give up FUSIONCASH!!!

I would also give up several other "Bonus Incomes" I receive from living here without doing much to earn them.

No desire, to live in another country.  I love being in the good ole USA and I also love the small town I live in.  Fortunately, I have the luxury of choosing where I live.

I'm not really even tempted to travel outside the US.
Have a great day!

I have talked with my wife about working out of the country for eighty percent of the year...as soon as the kids are done with college.  She works for the largest engineering firm in the world so we would have an opportunity to work in just about every country. A large percentage of your income is non-taxable when you work out of the country which is an attractive incentive-especially since we would be relying less and less on the benefits that most retired people do. Our kids could come to visit us in exotic ports of call and the whole family could have an enriching experience from it. I have talked to people that have ex-patriated and they are perfectly happy with the finality of their decision. They never stop sending e-mails everytime they hear of another constitutional mis-step.

I know a lot of friends, neighbors, classmates, teachers that grew up in different countries and moved here later and I think lately I have realized how big that actually is!!! I think its just normal because I know so many immigrants but I think about moving to another country and how BIG that would be leaving everyone behind friends, family and traditions, culture and everything I dont know if I could do it unless the situation was perfect what do you think ?
I moved 8hrs. from my family & friends 5 yrs. ago.  I had lived in my hometown all my life until then so no way no how could I move to another country...I was very home sick for more than 2 yrs. It is still hard on me if I can't make it back home every couple months

I spent a year studying in new zealand and it was the best year of my life. And although many people say "ohhh it was just study abroad excitement", I completely disagree.

The people there are ALL just so happy and nice, its amazing and overwhelming. I am not saying that most American people are awful, evil, people, but it was still just a drastic change in overall attitude of society.
Also, the whole country is beautiful and sooo easy to travel around. And Australia and Fiji are both so close by! Plus, they have a great economy. It's almost too good to be true.

I hope to move back there in a few years. I see no reason not to considering that I already speak the language and feel I could thrive there more than here...It's a lot easier to try harder to do what you want to do when you are in a place that creates that incomparable level of joy and ambition inside of you..Just need to save up enough money to get out there and get settled!:)

Also this might be a much easier for me than most people since I am only 21 years old but my only living family is my mother (USA) and my aunt (Poland). My mother wants to move back to Poland in a few years, and she is very encouraging of my desire to move to NZ.

I would certainly miss my close friends, but I am a big believer in that if people really matter to you, you won't lose touch. I know I won't see them as often as i do now, but I love them too much to forget about them.

I would be hesitant to move as my family is clustered where I am at least within reasonable driving distance. I did consider a particular country when I was fond of a particular girl, but I wonder if I would really move if we were even closer.

I would never move from the USA. I would vacation in Africa if I had the chance, but not live there.

My husband and I are actively planning to move to another country.  We have been researching about how to do so, their geology, their languages, their customs.  Everything we can.  We are both thorough researchers who love researching, so it works well for the both of us.  We have even looked at the geology and geography of the country and decided which type of area would be best suited to us.  It will take some time, but we are patient.

I know that the worst two years of my life were spent in another country and I was never so glad to get back to Texas so no I would not move to another country.
