It depends on what I'm using it for.  Sugar for baking.  Honey for certain recipes.   When I drink my tea, I usually don't sweeten it at all.

I tend to use sugar, because I feel I have to use a considerable amount more of honey to get the same sweetness.

Hahaha.  I do a lot of baking!  But, I use honey, sugar, and agave.  I probably use sugar the most, as I also make candies.  (I don't eat what I make, however, except for that popcorn the other night that I poured toffee on.)

For tea or coffee I will use honey or agave.  Agave has an excellent flavor, too.

I try not to use either one very much. I do however prefer honey to sugar. sometimes i put it in tea. Honey is also good in plain yogurt. :peace:

I like raw organic sugar for everything. I use sugar for homemade lemonade and rarely for tea. I use it for cakes, pies and whatever goodies I am baking. I also use other types of sweeteners like agave or fruit juices. I also use honey but not that often. :)

I think the only time I've used honey was on toast. I don't sweeten my tea with it or anything like that. If you get the right kind it's supposed to be good for you I hear.

i like honey... but i don't like to substitute it for sugar when
it comes to recipes. i'll add honey to tea or something like that,
instead of sugar, though.

I still like sugar more than honey. it is not as messy and is easier to measure in a cup since it doesn't stick to the sides.

Honey is probably better for you, but most of the time I use sugar. It is the white refined stuff, too. I do like to use honey in my tea and some drinks. It is good for biscuits and pancakes. Have you tried agave nectar. It is a good sweetener and does not have many calories. Since it comes from the agave catus, it is also a natural source of sugar. I use it more than honey, if I want to get away from sugar.
