We have been married for 20 years and this is after i said i would never get married again. Single for a very long time after a divorice. If something should happen too him i would never get married again at my age.

I have been with my husband for 8 years at the end of March and have been married to him only 1 1/2 years. A lot of good things have happened since we got married including both of us losing a bunch of weight trying some new activities together. It has been great.

My husband and I have known each other for about 40 years. We dated for 5 years then in June, 1980 we got married. We were married for almost 30 years when we divorced in 2009. After a couple of years of being together,we got remarried on our daughter's birthday in March of last year. We have a much stronger and closer bond since we put God first in our marriage. I love him just as much as I did when we were first married.

I met my husband through my cousin in August 2009.  We had been together 6 months when he proposed to me the first time.  I didn't marry him at that time because I was separated from my ex-husband and did not want to be a bigamist.  I finally got a divorce in September 2011 and we got married in November 2011.  We have known each other for 3 and a half years and have been married 16 months.  We will celebrate our 2nd anniversary in November this year.

You are lucky indeed. I am still hoping to find someone or have someone find me. That is a long time to know someone before getting married. I think it will be safe to get married to someone you have known for 10 years.
