Online Car Insurance
« on: March 12, 2013, 07:23:36 am »
Has anyone used online car insurance like the general or einsurance?  Is it cheaper? Is it accepted by local authorities?  Pros, cons, problems with it anyone? It's time for me to renew my tags and I was thinking of getting online insurance.  I'll call the DMV before I start getting quotes to make sure it'll be accepted.

Maybe they have limited driving skills, IDK, it seems easier to me to just back out, but I hope they're paying for that dent!

We (My sister n I) purchased progressive insurance on line and by passed the agent plus we got a discount for doing it online and another discount for direct withdrawal. If you have more than one car you get a discount on top of the others.

I use GEICO.  I think I'm getting a good deal for the coverage.  I've used them for most of my driving life.  For the few times I needed them, they were easy to deal with.  I've been with them long enough that I benefit from several different discounts, which help a lot to keep my car insurance costs down.

I've seen the progressive commercials but was always skeptical at the honesty of their quotes when they say they'll let you know if someone else is cheaper, but I'll check out them and GEICO just to see.  Thanks guys!!
