PLINK
« on: March 10, 2013, 12:20:20 pm »
I love Plink! I joined 3 months ago and get enough points for an electronic amazon gift card every month. You don't have to eat at fancy restaurants either-they have lots of fast food places. My credit card that I registered has never been compromised. I highly recommend.

Me too!! I just realized that I had enough for a $25 Amazon gift card. That program is really nice because you don't have to do anything.....it's all automatic.

I looked at Plink a while back and it looked like something I wanted to try, but at the time, I didn't have time to read it thoroughly and planned to study it later.  After reading this thread, I am going to make time asap!  I have a dinner meeting tomorrow night and I might be able to really take advantage of the offer.

I was a little scared of Plink because I don't like anything where you have to use a credit card or bank info, but I might try it. Can it be a prepaid card or does it have to be a regular credit card?

It's tempting to try PLINK.  But I don't understand why they need my bank account info.  There's not much about me that's still private on the Internet, and I guess I'd like to keep my bank info private for as long as I can.  The rewards seem really good.

I don't think they need your bank info. You just need to attach a credit card to your account....preferably the one you use to purchase things, so you can get your points.

Does it have to be a credit card or could you use a debit card?  I'd be afraid to input my debit card # as that is tied to my bank account.  I rarely use an actual credit card except for emergencies.

You can definitely use a debit card instead of a credit card.

I have actually started using my credit card to pay for everything, including my bills. Then, I just pay it off at the end of the month. This way I accumulate the points associated with the credit card, which usually gets me between $500 and $1000 per year that I get in the form of a Visa gift card. I still have to make sure to budget though, so the credit card balance is not over what I can pay off at the end of the month.
