faucets

some people say that the hot water on the faucet should be on the left and the cold water on the right.
Well, I am left handed and in my apartment, the plumbing was installed with the cold water on the left and the hot water on the right.
It works just fine for me that way. I don't really think about it.
I just look for the circle under the handle with half red and half blue and choose the temperature accordingly.

I have changed out faucets in my kitchen sink and mixed up the hot and cold and everyone went crazy for a week...till I switched it out!  Someone told me that the cold is on the right/hot on the left in London? We are looking at ways of saving more money  in addition to making more. I started reading about ways that expenses can be cut back at home.  Washing clothes in cold water saves over fifty dollars a year(and maximize the load-washing single items is such a waste). It costs the average american one dollar and ninety four cents for the water in a ten minute shower.  My son takes thirty minute showers-just letting the water run for at least ten of those minutes!
