What are your plans for St. Pattys day?
« on: March 09, 2013, 01:13:18 am »
It is the day before my election meeting, I will be stuck at home cooking cornbeef and cabbage. It will be way different than last year, that is for sure.

I don't normally have any scheduled plans for Saint Paddy's Day. I do, however, will attend any around town activities such as a festival or local park sponsred event. I remember when I was in school and if you didn't wear some kind of green on you-the other kids at the school(mostly friends) would pinch you, lol. I look back at that behavior now as an adult and I can't believe we all ran around the school pinching each other,  ;D.

Since St. Paddy's Day is on a Sunday, my family and I are going to Sunday School, Church, and my choir's anniversary is on that day as well.  I have to go sing at 3 pm and eat a light snack.    :) ;D

The only plans at the moment is to find something green to wear to church ~ don't want to get pinched.  We don't do anything special for St. Patrick's Day.
Have a wonderful day!

Well since it's going to fall on a Sunday, I will maintain my Sunday routine and that is attending church and worship the Lord. Besides that I think corn beef is also in the makings. Sounds like a St. Patty's meal for crying out loud. Hey where's the beef? by the way has anyone steamed their corned beef for a change? It is really Super Delish!

I have no plans for the day itself.  But I will be looking for someplace I can eat corned beef and cabbage!  That's one of my favorite meals.  My market always sells corned beef to be cooked, so I always have access to it.
