I don't have any particular plans as I don't really participate, but if I am going out I'm wearing green anyway to avoid being pinched. I hate the pinching, especially if this around a workday as my co-workers are pretty naughy/nasty during these times.

Shes also having a few friends over and going to get mani pedis, dinner and a movie. I know people are partying and what not but Ill have a good time helping make her birthday fun and eating sweets  :-X :-X eventhough i shouldnt be! haha  ;D

I'm going to hide from the neighborhood St. Pat's Day beer bust. All the wanna be 'Irish for a day' will get totally over served and start arguements and worse. Don't need that at all!

My plans are not to drink. Just eat a nice dinner. I cannot stand the parade here in NYC.

Working, so no plans.  A friend who is a dancer just purchased her green eyelashes and tutu to dance at a casino today while her fiance cooks the traditional corn beef and cabbage for dinner when she finishes.

A friend of mine is in a local pipe and drum band (that is "pipe" as in bagpipe)... Every year for St. Patty's Day, their band goes around to several different bars in town, play a few songs before moving on to the next bar. I guess this year there having 2 charter buses following the band on the "pub crawl". I don't think I'll go to all of the bars that the band is going to, but I'm sure I'll be seeing them at some point during the day. There is one Irish bar that actually has tents set up outside and has two bands going at once: the one outside is usually some traditional Celtic band while the one inside is more modern doing covers of rock bands from the 80s to today. They also serve Irish stew or corn beef & cabbage during the afternoon to early evening, so I'll probably head down there at least for supper before going downtown where there are several bars all in walking distance of each other.

Don't know yet so probably nothing lol - we have friends that have "get togethers" where we eat some good food, drink a couple of drinks but I haven't heard anything is going on for St. Patty's.

Am not planning anything. Unfortunately I am home alone. My other half is out of state visiting his brother in the hospital (on deaths bed).  :(

We will be having corn beef and cabbage.  My sister and her family will be coming over this year this will be something different because it is always been just us.  We will set back and watch a couple of parades on tv.
