IT'S MARCH AND IT STILL FEELS LIKE WINTER

It is now the month of March and the scenery and weather outside is still like winter.  Wow! I will be so glad when the frosty, cold and windy weather will head south  , lol. The birds do it now winter weather you do it, too.

I live in the South (West Point, MS) and it is cold outside.  I live in an old house that is drafty, and when my grandson left for school, it was 34 degrees.  It is 10 am here and it is 41 degrees.  It is supposed to get up to 55 degrees today.  I will be glad when the weather warms up.  I guess the groundhog lied when he said it would be an early spring, because I feel cold and I am sitting at my computer in my robe.  I am at home all alone, but I do have one consolation; I am not in Chicago where it is colder than this.

It is suppose to get up to 75 today here and then in a couple of days will be down in the 40's. The poor trees don't know what to do here. Just hope they don't bloom too soo, because we can still have a few moe days of freezing weather. Of course when it warms up some the wind will blow and since we are so dry so does the dust. Cn't win.

Tell me about it! I had to shovel out another foot of snow the other day. The only nice thing is that a few days later it'll be getting into the 40s.

We have a had a cold winter all over,especially down here in the south where its not as cold as some places. I remember last year,we had much warmer weather. Here it is March and almost Spring and its really colder than usual.

Hurry up Summer time.. Everyones ready for flipflops,tank tops and sandy beaches! lol

What do they say March comes in like a lion but goes out like a lamb.It is warming up here in ca but rain is still what we need. Remeber when my daughter got married in April that day was storming ,so who knows what to expect.

Technically speaking, Winter does not officially END until the Spring Equinox, which is March 20th.  So, yes, it is still Winter.  Spring starts later this month, and is not determined by Month, but by the position of the Earth relative to the Sun.

Yep - I agree.  After this week's snow storm, the snow piles are the highest they've been this season.  Taking a vacation next week, so I'm hoping when I return, the snow will be mostly melted!

I feel sorry for you and your "wintery" weather.  I live in the southwest where it's already 80 degrees!!!  Too bad we couldn't "bottle" some of our warm weather and send it your way!!!

It is still cold but not only is it cold it is rainy and snowy.  We have been having some kind of storm every couple of days.  I wish the weather would dry out some.   I know that I should not be saying that because it will be hot here before we know it as it is.  I guess we have to take it one day at a time and I guess we should not complain.

Well the famous groundhog was wrong this year. ...Spring is here,but still seems like winter...blurrrrrrrrr    Lets just by pass spring and ask for SUMMER    I'll take it!!

Where I live March is probably the coldest, most snow and miserable north wind.  We usually expect it to warm up maybe in May, but we don't hold our breath waiting.
