Black Chai Spice with cream.

Properly prepared Green Tea.

I also make my own mix, with fresh ginger root, cloves, cinnamon, and loose black tea.

I like Earl Grey and drank it throughout college...never touched coffee until five years ago. I would have two to three cups of Earl Grey and two or three Snapples.  Coffe has totally taken over as the stimulant of choice these days.  I worked part time as a barista and slowly desensitized myself to the botter taste. I created coffeees that tasted like candy bars and then moved on to carmel macchiatos at Starbucks, graduated to straight,  black espressos and now have about four shots of espresso for breakfast.  I then top it off with an iced tea and a mid-afternoon Earl Grey for old times sake.  Hard to believe that I can still get five hours of sleep a night!

All of my teas have to be herbal or decaf. My new favorite tea is spiced chai decaf which i like hot or cold. I really drink more of my teas cold then hot. ( Really start out hot and are cold by the time I drink them) I also make alot of  iced tea   with herbal teas. My favorites are lemon zinger, sleeytime tea, and mandarin orange. I have also seen a pumpkin spice decaf when in season that I would love to try.   :peace:

I have just found my favorite "ROOIBOS" tea at Safeway! It is a truly South African tea made from the leaves of one of the "fynbos" species that can be found growing on the west coast of the country. I drink it with condensed milk!

I never enjoyed tea until the last year or so.  I started with peppermint tea when I was sick last year with strep throat.  Than I moved to sun tea using lipton and now I drink about all teas.  Celestial seasonings are good.  I agree with whomever said when a green tea is made well it's at it's best.  A few tricks we use in our house to make tea with a little more kick to it is add lemon, honey or stevia along with some gingeroot.  I buy a gingeroot and peel about 1/2 and slice thinly added bottled water and refrigerate to have on hand for cooking.  The rest I use by breaking of a chunk and poking it with a fork...I just drop the whole thing in the water along with the tea bag and microwave.  It releases such a nice flavor.

My personal favorite type of tea is Zhena's Gypsy Tea, the Chocolate Chai flavored herbal red tea. The smell is so soothing and the taste is just right, so you don't have to add sweeteners or anything. It's all organic, and even comes in eco-friendly tea sachets and a recyclable can.

I am not a tea drinker in any way. I drink coffee on the occasion, which is maybe twice a week. I will say that I have had a lot of trouble sleeping these days and have tried everything.  My birthday recently passed and one of my good friends bought me a tea from "David's Tea". It is supposed to be calming, soothing and aids to have a good nights sleep. It's called "Mother's Little Helper" and again even though I don't like teas usually, this one is good and kind of helps!
