Caring and Respecting

Why is that people do not respect their elders and others like they used too? Its so disgraceful. I raise my children to be loving and caring. They can still protect themselves, but they also are not bullies. Jesus Christ cared for me and my children and I want them to care about others.

Thank you for doing that, maybe it'll catch on. 

I think some people forget that kids imitate and learn from their parents behavior.  They think "do what I say, not what I do" works.  We must set the example of what we want to see in others.

It's sad to see that some people don't bother to teach their kids this stuff and then they wonder why they're so out of hand. My mom works in a daycare and she's always telling me how wild and down right mean some of these little kids can be. Then the parents are told what they're doing but no action is ever taken.

It would be interesting if potential parents had to pass a series of interviews before being approved to become parents.  Most people would be disappointed when they were denied the opportunity.

The bottom line is that people have sex, they conceive children and do their best to raise them whether they are equipped to be parents, or not.

If respectful people give birth, they usually make an effort to teach their children to be respectful, even if they teach through example.

      The real problem is their "me first mentality".
