carribean or alaska

I would go on the Carribean cruise to get some heat....is Alaska like buried in the snow this time of year....I hope she has a wonderful time which ever one she chooses.....

I would love to go to the Carribean. I was to Canada once as a child for Niagara Falls, but I am more partial to warm weather and thought of the beautiful beaches and resorts would be right up my alley.

Personally a cruise would be nice too. Places like the Carribean, Hawaii, Jamaica, etc always make me think of having a great vacation. I would love to visit there someday.

I would definitely choose the Carribean cruise.  I have been on 3 and loved every place I have visited.  I would love to go on an Eastern Carribean Cruise the next time.

I'd definitely choose Alaska. A friend of mine did that cruise and said that Alaska was absolutely breath taking!! She brought back pictures and I've wanted to go ever since.

Carribean!!!!!  I am not fond of the cold/snowy weather!   Tropical is my choice!

I'd love both, but I will certainly choose Alaska first, and the very next time I'd go to the Caribbean. Alaska would be my first choice, because although I love warm weather, I pretty much experience it in a daily basis, so I would be something I'm not so used to, and I like the idea of everything Alaska has to offer. Having said that, I do agree with the fact that cruises spend too much time on port and there isn't enough time to have a real look of the places. But I'd say you kinda get that with all cruises, so you know what you're getting. If you go thinking of the time spend on the cruise and plan having a great time on board, and having glimpses of the places you're traveling by or visiting, then you would absolutely enjoy it. If you are thinking about the sense of discovery and getting to know the places and cultures, cruises will not provide that experience and you're better off flying and staying.

I have seen the pictures of Alaska and I think they are beautiful. However I will take the Carribean. I have been there a few times and would take that any time. Warm water, clean sand...crystal clear water...beautiful weather even when it rains....ahhhh...yes. Oh and let's not forget lounging as you enjoy that nice tropical ocean breeze.
