carribean or alaska

my daughter goes on a trip with her aunt in less than a week. She chose the carribean cruise over the alaskan cruise. What would you choose?

I'd definitely choose the Caribbean over Alaska (just because I'm a big warm weather, beach person).  As far as the cruise goes, I'd rather fly and spend my time exploring, rather than being in port a 1/2 day or day at a time.  It's just not enough time for me to actually SEE the place I chose to vacation.

Go for the Caribbean cruise, the sun is calling my name also, now I do want to see Alaska but with the crazy weather that we are dealing with in Texas makes me run for the sun.  But what ever is chosen is a great trip to take and experience, so HAVE FUN###

I would only go on an Alaskan cruise when it's summertime in Alaska, otherwise I would go on the Caribbean one!!  Hope they have fun!!!

I'm afraid of going on cruises since that incident with Carnival Cruise fiasco a few weeks ago.

If you're younger you'd probably enjoy the carribean...i'm from alaska and it's beautiful and grand...certainly worth a look

I would go to Alaska. I did get a vacation book in the mail on Alaska, I sent for it. Someday I will be going there, just don't know when right now.

I would pick Alaska. The Caribbean is so cliche and places like the Bahamas are actually not very nice (I've cruised there). By choosing Alaska, your daughter would get the fun of the boat plus adventure on land. I've heard Alaska has gorgeous scenery.

    Alaska! Not so crowded, cooler and longer daylight during summertime. So much to see and do!

Since I mostly grew up in Alaska (and I love it) I would choose the carribean. Hope they have a wonderful time.
