I would say it depends on how cold it is, and where I am. If it's lightly cold, then a sweatshirt will do; if it's cold enough, then a sweater or hoodie and all of these choices would be indoors. Outdoors, I would start with a hoodie and climb up to thicker layers. I'd add that if at home, I might even go for a snuggie, lol, however, that is very unlikely.

A hoodie because it's comfy and casual. Plus you can keep wearing it indoors and not look strange.

i looove hoodies. they're so comfy and cozy.
i only do sweatshirts/sweat pants as pajamas, usually.

cute jackets are must-have, too.
