is the iPad mini just a bigger iPod Touch?

Aren't they basically the same product, just bigger?
I'm thinking about getting a tablet of some kind and I'm not sure if an iPad mini is worth the money (I already have an iPod Touch). Would it be better to get an Android? Something else?

personally, I feel like every apple product is the same. I have an iPad and iPod touch. My iPad is much updated than my iPod, but I like them. I suggest if you are looking for something different get a Kindle or Android tablet.

That's what it sounds like to me. All of these products are just glorified copycats of each other. You only need one (or perhaps none at all).

I have an IPAD and I love it, there is only one problem, you cannot do Fusion Cash must be on a computer!

So, they're pretty similar, just the iPad is more updated? I think I might go for a Kindle. There are so many Android tablets out in the market and I'm confused on which ones are the best. There are so many conflicting reviews.

I subscribe to Consumer Reports and the Kindle Fire and Google Nexus both have excellent reviews.  I have an Ipad and while great it does have a few detractions:  it's expensive compared to other tablet computers, no way to increase storage, and no flash support(all other tablet computers that I know of have flash support).

Thanks for your input! Now to decide between a Kindle Fire and Google Nexus...leaning more towards the Google Nexus 7 though.

I also have a Kindle Fire, I love it. I only use mine to read off of though, but it's capable of everything else that my apple products can do.

I think the ipad, ipad mini, and ipod touch are all similar products.  I have an ipad and really enjoy it.
